Our Mission
Seattle Soul Doulas was founded with the mission of helping and honoring all families regardless of skin color, gender identity and sexual orientation.
Our unique approach to doula care and trauma-informed guidance ensures not only your physical, but emotional and mental needs are met as well during this beautiful, but often challenging period of you and your babies’ lives.
Here at Seattle Soul Doulas, our goal is to teach and guide you on how to best care for your baby; assist you with tasks and infant care, and give you the peace of mind so you can enjoy this beautiful time.

Throughout my life I have worn many hats. My first job was at my mom’s Daycare. I’ve been around and loved babies since I can remember. Due to my knack for calming the fussiest of babies, I was coined as The Baby Whisperer early on in life. When I was older, I became my mother’s daycare assistant focusing my care on newborns and infants under one.
Eventually, I had the opportunity to become a nanny for infants and toddlers. These experiences nourished my soul due to the impact I was able to make, the learning opportunities, and emotional connections I made with the families I helped.
My passion for helping others, and wanting to make an impact in my community continued. After some time, I became a Residential Youth Counselor at a long-term shelter for youth. I worked directly with young adults ages 12 through 19, often with expecting teens, young moms, and their newborns. This expanded my knowledge and training in providing trauma informed care to a deeper professional level. I learned many skills through education, guidance and first hand experiences. Eventually, this led me to pursue professional doula training, certification, and years of hands-on experience, and eventually found Seattle Soul Doulas.
LIFE JOURNEY

All of my combined skills fueled by my passion as a doula led me to open my own business, Seattle Soul Doulas, where I can be at the front and center of the quality, care, and attention my clients deserve.”
MY OTHER PASSIONS
One of my other passions is Beauty & Holistic Self-care. Early on, I found myself pursuing a career as a makeup Artist and moved on to manage successful luxury beauty brands at Nordstrom and other retailers. Eventually I moved on to Hair Care and became an award winning Senior Account Executive and Product Development Strategist. Next, I trained and mentored new hires, managed over 300 partner salons and helped them manage successful businesses. I provided education to over 800 partners on topics like retailing, marketing, and social media. My favorite part about Product Development was proposing product ideas and working with the team to perfect the formulas that would eventually become part of the brand collection as well as helping ensure our haircare line remained clean and natural, always pushing for the use of the best and safest ingredients. Now, to this day I remain true to this belief, and through Seattle Soul Doulas, aim to provide my patients with nutritional and health advice which is truly best for you and your little soul.
